About Me
Pavan is a Computer Science major. She is constantly fascinated with the ideas of discovery and innovation.
With each programming project she takes on, she aims to fulfill the user’s requirements, while striving for
efficiency and sophistication.
What she really enjoys doing is sharing her love for STEM with others, as she
believes STEM is the foundation of literally everything, regardless of what area or field. She is actively involved
in the tech industry. She is a passionate advocator for women representation in Computer Science and related
majors in the Tech industry. She aims to break the untrue stereotype that it is not a field for women.
Some of her notable accomplishments are organizing city-wide conferences open to the public.
In her free time she can be found at the beach or her studio. She is a first-degree black belt in taekwondo
and amateur kickboxer. She can play several instruments including the violin, string bass, bass guitar, and harmonium.
She enjoys dancing, reading and listening to new music. She enjoys working with kids and teaching children how to
code in her free time.

Highlight
Pavan is extremely involved in her community. When she became President of She.Codes
she organized a conference which was open to the public. The focus of the conference
was to learn more about different areas within technology, address issues faced in the industry,
and create meaningful connections. The conference was formatted with a panel, Q/A session, and
networking reception. The conference was a success and Pavan organized a similar conference
a year later. This year due to COVID-19, the conference was held virtually. Panelists have included
professionals from companies such as Google, Microsoft, Northrup Grumman, Pilota, JPL, Sabio,
Caltech and more!
